Future Route has teamed up with the Forum of Private Business (FPB) to launch its latest online service, Forum CreditPal.
Forum CreditPal allows SMEs that feel they’re not being properly assessed for credit and finance to submit the up-to-date financial information that their chosen provider needs to properly assess their business’s financial position.
SMEs that have been unable to access credit and finance, have often felt powerless to influence how their financial position is assessed by providers.
According to Phil Orford, Chief Executive of the FPB, Forum CreditPal gives SMEs the chance to prove they deserve the credit or finance they need.
“Business owners seeking funding should understand that they are not helpless. There is support available to minimise their chances of being rejected for finance and to empower them to help themselves.
“With banks moving towards requiring regular – meaning quarterly or even monthly – financial reporting, there are obvious cost implications for small firms. Forum CreditPal empowers them to produce and present their management accounts in the right way and free of charge,” he said.
Forum CreditPal was launched by the FPB at the second Doing Business Together Grass Roots Forum, held in association with Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce on 25th February 2011.
The event was attended by George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer, as well as nearly 200 SME or credit and finance representatives.
